Tech Observation #4: iPad publishing

I’m extremely excited when I think about the future of my business — especially moving beyond web-based to provide all-around access to the platform.

Speaking again of CNN iReport, they’ve recently created an iPad app that will allow users to directly upload content from their iPad. It might seem silly or crazy nowadays to think of carrying an iPad into a warzone – but it could be *the* device you have on you when you’re sitting in your beach chair and a tsunami decides to come up to shore.

But seriously, an iPad app is a logical extension of my news website – especially if I go the route of an ad-based revenue stream.

Another important factor is that the current iPad audience aligns well with my website audience in that they are tech-savvy and media-hungry.
